WOW! When I got there, Wendy was sitting-up in the Chair-Bed and was just ... WOW...back to her old self! Don and his sister-in-Law, Andrea came-up. We talked and laughed for a while. Wendy even remembered a story from a few years ago about Tyler! Then, Kimberly, Glenda, Patti, and my friend and co-worker Angela all came-up at the same time! They talked for a while and we even got a full-on laugh out of Wendy! She was sitting-up in the Chair-Bed and wasn't light-headed! This is a MAJOR improvement! Can I get an Amen? Can I get a Woot Woot? hahaha She was remembering things and, for the first time, remembered that she was in an accident and that she had been in the hospital for a while. She also remembered her trip that she had previously scheduled to go to her Parent's house. It was a VERY good visit! Her lunch tray had just arrived, but she was talking a lot and didn't get around to it. Just after everyone left, Cynthia, (her nurse) came-in and said that they were going to X-Ray to get a pelvic X-Ray to make sure that everything is healing correctly. Physical Therapy also came-by to get Wendy walking. (They call it "ambulating".) She walked from the Chair-Bed to her bed and sat back down! Even after that, she wasn't lightheaded!
Things are looking good!
