11/27/08 - Physical Therapy Visit

The Physical Therapist finally came-around and we found-out that the Doctor forgot to remove Wendy's weight bearing on her left leg,so, as far as the Therapist was told, she was not supposed to be walking.  So, the Nurse, Toni, called the Doctor to get clarification.  He said that she CAN put weight on her left leg. So, Physical Therapy came back and Kelly got Wendy out of the bed to walk.  She walked over 100ft with the walker!  (They had only asked for 80ft.). Now that all of the confusion has been sorted through, the Physical Therapist is recommending Wendy be released, however, the Doctor has to sign-off, first.  Being that it is 4pm in the afternoon, I have a good feeling that they probably won't release her until tomorrow.

If anything changes, I'll let you all know.
