For the final visit of the day, Wendy was awake and she was shifting her weight around the bed to get into a more comfortable position. This is good, even though it can be a little painful for her.
For the late-shift tonight, we have a new nurse whose name is Molly. Just before the visiting time was about to end, she told me that I could stay in the room with Wendy tonight!!!!!! She's been EXTREMELY nice and very compassionate. So, I will be sitting next to Wendy, holding her hand all night long.
She's doing good!
